The Racine Zoo is soliciting proposals from area artists to create a mural for the main entrance into our Vanishing Kingdom building. The building is a historic landmark at the Zoo, dating back to 1936 and houses some of our most popular animals, including our African Lions, White-handed Gibbons, Emperor Tamarins and Orangutans - Max and Jenny. It receives thousands of visitors a year and we're looking to update the main entrance with a nature/animal themed mural to further enhance our visitors' experience. |
