Racine Cardboard Boat Race - Racine Zoo Day

Build your own boat for the Racine Cardboard Boat Race while supporting Racine Zoo! We are thrilled to be the featured nonprofit at the August 5 Racine Cardboard Boat Race! For 100 years, Racine Zoo has been fostering an enlightening and affordable wildlife experience, improving the bond between people and nature. Racine Zoo is dedicated to promoting awareness of conservation issues through engaging, educational, and entertaining zoo experiences.

Proceeds from this amazing event will stay in Wisconsin to benefit the animals and programs of the Racine Zoo. Through your support, we can continue to educate and inspire our community while creating memorable adventures for guests of all ages for years to come.

Show off your boat building skills and creativity with a friendly race against family, friends, and other businesses. Live music, great food, cash prizes, and more! The Zoo will have an Animal Booth there, so be sure to come say "hi"!

Schedule for the day:

8am -- Doors open

9am -- Building starts

10am -- DJ starts

11:30am -- Food starts

1pm -- Building stops, The blessing of the boats

2pm -- First race of the day followed by the Regata Parade

3pm -- Live music starts

5pm -- Cash prizes are given to the winners, Drawing for the raffle board winners
